Family Pictures

Our friend Derek took these pictures for us. I was dying to get family pictures done. I love how they turned out. Although it was a pretty day, it was freezing so we kept getting in and out of the car. We would take a few pictures, go get in the car and get warm and then try again. I think we were all numb by the end. Thanks Derek for doing this for us.

December 7th, "Frosty loves to sing Christmas songs, let's sing songs together". It just so happens that when you push Frosty's hand he sings Let it Snow. So Macey sang that song with him.

December 4th said to make snow angels with Frosty, but we will have to wait to do that when we get some fresh snow. December 5th "Frosty wants to make yummy cookies together." We made just good old chocolate chip cookies on Sunday. December 6th "Frosty likes to color and wants to color a Christmas picture together". Macey got out all of her coloring stuff (pens, markers, glitter pens, crayons, colored pencils) and colored a pretty picture of a Christmas tree, some presents under the tree, and Frosty.

Macey's letter says Dear Santa, I want a baby, furniture, bathtub, carriage. I love you, Love Macey. I love how she writes, it's so cute. Her U's are huge and her G and B's are so funny.


December 3rd, "Frosty wants to help you write your letter to Santa." We got red construction paper and the crayons out. Macey colored a picture of Frosty on the front of the letter and then wrote to Santa what she wanted for Christmas in the inside. We put the letter in an envelope and Macey wrote To Santa, North Pole and then stuck it in the mailbox and put the flag up. She is so excited for the "mailman" to get the letter and take it to Santa. Macey wants a newborn baby doll, a bathtub for her baby, furniture for her doll house, and a carriage for her barbies.

December 2nd, "Frosty's favorite meal is breakfast. Let's eat breakfast with Frosty today" We made cinnamon rolls and chocolate milk for breakfast, YUM!

On December 1st the note from the calender said that Frosty wants to help decorate the tree. Well we already had our tree up, so we just got a picture of Macey and Frosty in front of the tree.

My sister Kim made me this advent calender. I have been wanting one because Macey will not stop bugging me about how many more days until Christmas, so Kim surprised me with this. It is so cute. Everyday we take the number off and there is some M&M's and a little note that tells us what to do that day. She gave us a snowman named Frosty and everyday we are to do those things with Frosty. It is so cute and I love the whole idea. Macey has been having so much fun doing things with Frosty. I was just going to wait until the end and post the whole thing, but it's been a few days and I have taken so many pictures already, so I'm just going to have to post it everyday.
