My baby Macey got baptized today. It's crazy how time flies and can't believe I have an 8 year old. It was a very special day today. My week has been crazy with me being gone at girls' camp and then come home and get ready for the baptism, but it couldn't have gone any smoother and more perfect. Macey did great getting baptized by Scott and she looked so pretty in her dress. We then had the family come over for lunch and cake and presents since I wasn't home for Macey's birthday. She got really cute jewelry for her baptism and some fun clothes and a ton of earrings. We then went and got her ears pierced later this afternoon. She was really nervous that it was going to hurt, but she was brave and let them do it. She said it hurt a little bit but was really happy she did it. They sure look cute. It was a fun and special day, definitely one we will never forget.

I was so excited because the boys are finally old enough to play some city sports. We signed them up for soccer this summer. They didn't really know how to play, but they understood that you kick the ball in the goal. Good enough! It is so fun to watch them play. They play 4 kids at a time on a team and they just run around in a big group kicking at whatever they can hoping to kick the ball in the middle of all of that. They boys have fun playing. They especially love the treats at the end of the game. Scott and I have fun watching, we are constantly cheering and yelling at the boys to run and kick the ball. We can be a little too competitive at times.
We signed Macey up for city gymnastics. She has been wanting to do gymnastics for awhile and we finally let her. She loves it! She does flips, head stands, and cartwheels all day long. She is pretty good too!

For the 4th of July this year we went to the Rexburg Parade in the morning. Then went out to lunch with the Stears Family. We then headed to the movies to see Despicable Me 2. We played a little arcade until the movie started. It was a really cute movie... my kids loved it and sat through the whole thing without any complaint (even Ryan). After the movie we went swimming at Grandma Nicki's. We didn't get hotel rooms this year like we have done for the past 17 years. So some of the Stears family went to Idaho Falls to watch the fire works. Our little family stayed in Rexburg this year. We were sad to not go to Idaho Falls, but I didn't want fight the crowd and fight Ryan from going in the streets. We decided to stay in town and watch the Rexburg fireworks. We found a nice grass spot at the animal shelter and the fireworks were right over our head. The show was only about 5 minutes but it was fine. We are too spoiled with Idaho Falls, that anything else is a disappointment. It was a fun filled day with the family and that's all that matters.
