Scott and I went to a storage auction last weekend. We love the show and have always wanted to try it for ourselves. Scott's sister works at rent master and told us that they were going to be auctioning some storage units. I was so excited. They had 5 storage units for auction that day in Idaho Falls. It's just like the show, they open the door and you can't go in, you can only look from outside, and start bidding. We saw a bed, chest freezer, washer and dryer and a ton of boxes and totes. So we decided to take a stab at it and ended up winning the unit. It was really exciting!!! We loaded it all up and brought it home to my garage. It took all day to go through the stuff. We had a ton of stuff. Most of it was new, never opened or used. There was a ton of camping stuff, like dutch ovens, coolers, grills, etc., hunting stuff, kitchen stuff and electronics. Scott found 4 fly fishing rods, a 22 colt pistol, and a honda generator, which was very exciting. We spent all week organizing, pricing and selling things. We sold a lot of it during the week and then we did a garage sale on Saturday to sell the last of the stuff. We ended up tripling our money and kept a lot of stuff for ourselves. It was a lot of work, but so worth it. We can't wait until the next one!!
